On the Right Track (1981)--After a slew of TV-movies and during his successful run on the hit show "Diff'rent Strokes" Gary Coleman starred in his first big screen movie as the country was at its height of Gary Coleman fever. Coleman is charming here as a homeless orphan who lives in a locker inside a metropolitan train station who has a knack for picking winning race horses. He soon gains city wide attention while his friend Lisa Eilbacher and child services officer Michael Lembeck strike up a romance. Near perfect old school '80s PG movie with a lot to remind one just how good the good old days were.\
