Old sewing machine parts needed

I need a slide plate to a Singer 201. I also need a front slide plate to a Singer 128, this one preferably black, it's to go on a Godzilla blacksided machine. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, that's ok, only those who have them would know!!!

Question Nov 10, 2004 6:03 PM
Hi Karen, I have one that is part number 172201. It is with a bunch of 401 parts, so I'm not sure if it is the right one or not. If you think this might be the right one let me know and I'll list it. I always have lots of machine parts and feet. I didn't think about someone might need some also! Kathy

Question Nov 6, 2004 9:59 PM
I probably don't know either, but i'm going to hazard a guess and say the metal parts to the old school sewing machines. People make end tables out of the wrought iron parts. I found two complete sewing machines when I cleaned out my 80 year old fathers barn this summer and please excuse me if i'm wrong, it was just a guess. thanks for your time. Sly

Yep, these are parts to one sewing machine from the 40's and the other from the 20's!!! They're the parts that cover the bobbin area. What did you do with the machines you found?? There are a lot of people across the nation and world who work hard to restore and save all themachines we can find and afford!!! Silly

Question Nov 6, 2004 10:22 PM
They are still there in dads barn keeping the dust company. I didn't know what to do with them. I don't hold out much hope the machines themselves work, but the metal parts are soooo aweesome to look at. The wood is in bad shape too, but there are parts inside I would think could be used. Know of anyone that would want them. I wanted to say one of them said pat. 1907.. I am going up to his place tomorrow and I will get more information. My father just wants stuff cleaned up and he said with all my crazy computer work I could find a home for the stuff!! I know on the wrough iron end parts it says Singer.. Are they called a Trendle?? sewing machine? thanks hon

They're treadle sewing machines, and I'm pretty sure I could find someone who would love to have them, unfortunatly it's next to impossible given the no contact information on this site. But, go to (URL Removed by iOffer) and at the bottom is the contact info for the head of that wonderful group, he's also in WA and might be able to help you!!!
