Coin sets in Folders
It depends on several items. For example: The number of coins in the set, is the set complete, is it almost complete or is it half complete? Are the missing coins what are known as key coins (Rare coins for the set)? The type of coin, Pennies are normally worth less than Nickels, Nickels worth less than Dimes etc. The rarity of the coin, is it a common coin like a 1945 penny or a rare coin like the 1931S penny. I have to look at all of the coins in the set to determine the sets value. I will not just give you a ballpark figure on the value of a set like most people will give you. I have paid as little as $10 for a set of coins and I have paid well over $100 for a single coin. I will look at the individual coins in the set and pay you according to their numismatic value not just their silver value. Bottom line, no one can determine how much a coin or a coin set is worth unless he or she is able to examine them. If you want you can send me a list of what denomination of coin you have and how many you have and I will let you know if I think the set is worth further examination. You can also (Comment Removed by iOffer) after 5 Please E-mail me even if you do not wish to pursue this any further. Bob Indian Head Pennies 1860 - 1909 If you can read the date clearly but cannot read at least 3 letters of the word LIBERTY on the headband I am paying $.50 each for the Indian head pennies no matter what the date is. If you are able to read at least 3 letters of the word LIBERTY on the headband and the coins are dated in the 1860s or 1870s I am paying up to $8.00 each for the Indian Head Pennies Depending on the exact date. If you are able to read at least 3 letters of the word LIBERTY on the headband and the coins are dated in the 1880s or 1890s or 1900s I am paying $1.00 each for the Indian Head pennies. If you are able to read all 7 letters of the word LIBERTY on the headband and the coins are dated in the 1860s or 1870s I am paying up to $15.00 for the Indian Head Pennies Depending on the exact date. If you are able to read all 7 letters of the word LIBERTY on the headband and the coins are dated in the 1880s or 1890s I am paying up to $2.50 each for the Indian Head pennies. If you are able to read all 7 letters of the word LIBERTY on the headband and the coins are dated in the 1900s I am paying up to $1.50 each for the Indian Head pennies. I can pay more for coins that are in even better condition than described above. Buffalo Nickels 1913 - 1938 If the date is completely gone I can pay 6 cents each for the nickels. If the last two digits of the date allow you to determine its date but you cannot read all 4 digits of the date I can pay 10 cents for the coins. If you can read the full date clearly I can pay $0.25 and up depending on the quality of the coin. Only a few dates are worth more than the above amounts they are as follows: 1913s, 1914s, 1915D, 1915S, 1917D, 1917S, 1921S, 1924S and 1926S I will pay up to $1.50each for them. If the coins are in better than average condition I can pay more than the above amounts. For the average circulated Wheat Pennies dated in the 1940s, and 1950s I will pay 3 cents each for the Wheat Pennies. For the 1909S, 1914D, 1922, and the 1931S I will pay up to $15.00 each for the Wheat Pennies if they are in better than average condition. Mercury Dimes 1916 - 1945 Mercury Dimes almost all fall into the same category there are no premium dates except for the 1916D and 1921. If you cannot see any vertical lines on the torch on the back of he dime I will pay $1.00 each no matter the date. If the coins are in very fine condition I can pay $1.00 each for the coins. If the coins are in excellent, like new, condition I can pay $1.15 each. Morgan and Peace Dollars 1878 - 1934 For common dated dollars that are not worn badly I will pay $10.00 each. I will pay $12.00 or more for the common dated coins if they are in better condition. For the less common dated coins that are not worn badly I can pay $12.00 each. I will pay $15.00 and up for the less common dated coins if they are in better condition. Response

I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As you can see it cost almost as much or more to ship a small amount of common coins than the coins are worth. It usually pays to wait until you have a much larger quantity or until you have some coins worth a larger amount before it is worthwhile. If you want to wait and collect more coins, as you said you get them all the time, before we conduct our business that is fine with me. You can print out my sheet listing how much I will pay for coins and then you can figure how much your coins are worth.
