I have a great love for vintage things, jewelry in particular. My guess is if you found your way to my page you do too! Vintage jewelry it is all the rage today and the hottest in style. But we already knew what many others are just finding out... vintage jewelry has a timeless, classic beauty that is never out of style!
About My Work
I have been studying period jewelry for a great number of years and creating my own pieces inspired by the opulent designs of the past using authentic vintage findings. Most of the vintage findings I work with are very old un-circulated warehouse or jeweler's stock gathered from all over the world and some is salvage from un-wearable vintage jewelry pieces. I only use the finest vintage components spending weeks to create the perfect piece and each is a true piece of history. Incredible Bohemian, Czech, West German and Japan - glass rhinestones, glass beads, glass pearls, cameos and stunning Swarovski crystal rhinestones and beads. Genuine gemstones such as onyx, carnelian, quartz, jasper, goldstone, coral and turquoise - all combined with the most beautiful vintage solid brass in rich golden patinas from natural ageing. Unique, original and exciting signed-one-of-a-kind wearable art that is "Truli a step up out of the ordinary" Collector's pieces you will love to own and wear for many, many years to come!

About Me
Hi! I am a single mom of 2. A wonderful daughter who is now out on her own and doing great and my super son who is starting college soon. He tells me he wants to be a marine biologist and I plan to help him every step of the way. I also have 3 boston terrier dogs which were rescues. Little clowns that always keep me laughing and they have been excellent company. And of course we can't forget the cat who really rules the roost here. I have worked most of my adult life in the medical field specializing in emergency medicine until almost 2 years ago when I became ill myself and found I had to take leave of the career I loved so much. But... it has given me a wonderful opportunity to further explore my passion for making jewelry and for that I am very thankful! I have always had a bit of a love affair with jewelry, but not new jewelry, no, I have always loved vintage jewelry. From the time I first tried on my grandmother's old beads I was hooked! LOL I started collecting vintage jewelry years ago and ran across many pieces that were in sad shape. I could not stand to see these once beautiful pieces tossed away so I decided to remake them and give them a new life. Today I acquire my vintage components from all over the world and create pieces based of designs from Renaissance to Art Deco and everything in between!

Hello, its me! Your jewelry is just sooo gorgeous. You truly have a talent for it. Its a shame we can't ask more for our artwork. I love your Etsy pieces. Are you having any luck on there selling your work? Hope things pick up soon. Oh yeah, where do you get most of your vintage items to work with? Thanks,L |

Hi,
I could not figure out how to respond directly to your profile comment. Hope this works. I am so new on ioffer I have way too much to do figuring out why my photos did not all make it into the thumbnails and galleries and fixing a lot of things pertaiing to eBay only. Mr Grabber changed some of my verbage and for some reason changed many of my listings ending in .95 to .94. No Idea why. No one at ioffer has answered any of my e-mails for 2 days and say I need to wait on them before I can ask any more questions. So I fear I am way too busy to join any clubs. Not much of a joiner anyway. Most of my stuff is not vintage. I see lots of cameos called vintage that I can get new from a lady in Kansas who makes her own. Wonder how one would tell the difference? Oh well. Thanks for the invite, maybe latter. DonFeb-23-2008 |

Hi, thanks for the invite. I just went to join your club. I am still fairly new to this also & am learning as I go along. I am so glad to find a way to learn more about vintage jewelry. I have been "scouting" out my hometown & not been able to find any pieces that would make something decent. I haven't had a chance to look at your pieces yet, but I am excited. I have a degree in Interior Design, from many, many years ago & it does come in handy when mixing beads etc. Luckily, I get many compliments on several of my pieces when I wear them. Now, just to promote them more & get my business more successful. Again, thanks for the invite. Can't wait to "chat" & learn some more. |
