I am a long time native of Michigan, having lived near and in Grand Rapids for well over 50 years. I now live in beautiful Virginia with my lovely wife and Standard Schnauzer. I started flying flags about 15 years ago and got several of my neighbors interested in doing the same. I am a veteran having served in the Air Force and I proudly fly that flag. I retired 10 years ago from business and really needed something to keep me busy as I have owned and operated my own business's for over 40 years. I was a retailer of home entertainment equipment, a residential home builder and an insurance agent for properties. The flag business was a natural and I sincerely enjoy it! I really love working with people, communicating and meeting their needs. I am very grateful to all of my customers for this opportunity
