Background music as part of a theme?
Mood:
Confused Background music as part of a theme, attracts many, and irritates others. Adding sound to any page of a store can be a huge surprise to the viewer, when at work, or when the house is asleep, or even when they have their own music playing. Personally...I hit the backbutton. Another sad fact is, not everyone appreciates your taste in music. This is a personal statement, it's really up to the individual. Some viewers are on dial-up, by the time the music is downloaded, the viewer may be part way through a page. In some cases, sudden sound can be very unexpected and startling.
