Terryll L. Rex, G.G.
Ceud Mile Failte (A Hundred Thousand Welcomes)! When Terryll (Terri) was just a little girl. She liked and collected rocks. Every Christmas she would ask Santa Claus for a rock tumbler, but never got one. At age 32, she suddenly realized she was old enough to buy her own and at that point she began purchasing gemcutters waste for tumbling. With one shipment, she received a parcel of facet-quality material that she decided was too good for the tumbler. She promptly sent the parcel out for cutting. Well, that was the end of the tumblers and since then, she began purchasing cuttable rough. As her collection outgrew itself and she began selling some of it, she also discovered, most people would rather buy jewelry already made up, than gems to have set. So she began to assemble some jewelry and then later to sell premade jewelry. At that time, Terryll began schooling at GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and is now a Graduate Gemologist. She also took some silversmithing lessons online from Don Norris. Terri has participated in a set of courses from "Antique and Collectibles Camp", July 22-26, 2005, presented by Harry Rinker of "Antique Road Show." The classes Terri participated in where "An Introduction To Jewelry," and "Training The Eye," both taught by Christie Romero of center4jewelrystudies. In her spare time, Terri rides her horse and plays with Neffsville, Pa. Bagpipe Band Ceol Neamh.
