Getting back to you re the BOMBA movies I bought on site at ioffer. The package took awhile to get to me and my friend and I have only been watching one a week. So far of the three I've watched they seem acceptable, say 7 or 8 out of 10. Of the three, one bore the TNT logo so, figuring they have done what they can to present them well, it was still a bit "soft," obviously sourced from a print rather than negative. The other two I've seen are similar but seem sourced from 16mm. I don't feel short-changed, as I'm sure these programmers were not carefully looked after to begin with. I'd say, if you're interested, go for them.Aug-11-2008

Michael Pate, what a fine actor!Still one of the best Western vampires, but he can and did so much more. I was based in NYC for many years; did a couple of miniseries on GEO.WASHINGTON and a few more movies, but mostly did regional theater all over. Arthritis moved in about 8 years ago and I did my last performance last April as Polonius in HAMLET. Too hard to get about anymore which has moved me to this dvd collecting. So many treasures! I'd like to hook up some sort of system myself so I could copy 30 years of VHS treats to dvd and make them available. but where to start. Not with this ancient beast of a computer, that's for sure.Well, keep in touch and I hope to see the BOMBAS arrive this week. Good luck with your ventures!Jul-13-2008
