I 've been busy bringing up my 2 year old granddaughter and babysitting for my 3 year old grandson. I have not been visiting here at iOffer as much as I would like and I hope to return soon and relist our entire inventory.

Like many we started on online sales venues as buyers. My husband and I were thrilled to make our earliest purchases, and that feeling intensified when we made our first sale. We still feel a thrill to this day in both receiving and sending a package. I personally love to save money buying items that interest me and being the ecologically minded person I am enjoy acquiring or passing on people’s past treasures, too. As a seller and buyer our feedback ratings have been 100%. We credit that to the following: v We believe that customer care is the pinnacle of a good business. A seller is only as good as the manner in which they serve the customer. v We do business as a seller in all transactions as if we are the end buyer. We also look to these guidelines in other sellers when we are a buyer. So far this has worked for us in different sales venues. v We choose not to buy or sell risky merchandise. (See next paragraph) v We practice fast or instant payment to our sellers and truly appreciate the same in our buyers. v We process shipping as soon as we are able, and between us, in most cases deliver packages to the post office within an hour of buyer’s payment. v We believe in good communication. This is our personal secret to Happiness… We only buy or sell what we can personally afford. This alone will keep one out of trouble. Knock on wood our experiences have been good but like most, I personally have noted the dissatisfaction of many buyers due to fraudulent merchandise such as sellers who disappear after payment, claim dishonestly that their product are authentic right down to the papers, boxes and whatever. It really is not possible to get super high priced items at cut-rate prices without getting exactly what you pay for. If sellers base their business on fraud, why would anyone feel comfortable sending them money? See the wisdom of Jenny_lake's 13 Flags to Warn a Bidder of a Fraulent Transaction. You will never pay 99 cents for a TV and $300 for shipping from a “honest” seller! Shipping and handling should not be where a seller is making their profit! We can only guess that such sellers set their item prices so low that they may not make a profit, and so choose to pad the shipping fees and hope buyers don’t notice. These sellers are also practicing fee avoidance, which ultimately has a hand in fee increases which are then passed to the customers. At least one of the sales venues have found a way to circumvent this by basing their Final Value fees on the sale price and shipping cost combined. We charge exact shipping charges plus $1 to help defray a small portion of shipping supplies and expenses needed for a quick delivery. This is just a sample list of what all sellers may pay: v Listing fees v Final value fees v Extra fees for photos v Enhanced listing fees such as bolded listings, search page placement, etc. v Merchant payment service fees such as PayPal v Shipping supplies, including boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, packing tape, and packing peanuts v Post office fees, including postage, print fees, and delivery confirmation fees, including a fee to pay online for this service v PC expenses including paper, ink and/or toners (very expensive), labels, maintenance… v …not to mention the gas to get your package to the post office as soon as possible (since a lot of us won’t make you wait for the postman to pick it up). The dollar we charge does not begin to cover all of our operating costs as sellers, but it helps enough that we can keep our costs down to a reasonable price. Honest Sellers and Buyers club is closing...

I'm am so very sorry to say I will be closing this club by the end of this month, January 2008. It's been great, but I have not been able to maintain the memberships since the last major
iOffer update. After several sessions and hours of deleting the membership icon from automatically accepted applicants, who do not meet the guidelines, I have decided to start out fresh when the opportunity
presents itself. Hopefully in the near future I will have the time for the heavy amount of required maintenance. I am hoping that the club icon will not be awarded to applicants in the next iOffer update until the applicant is accepted by the club founder. To all of the faithful and honest sellers and buyers, keep up the good work and hope to see you soon.
