I spoke to Apple CS at AT and T - they tell me that the iPhones go out to dealers for around $50 less than what the retail is - the longer the contract, tech ability and Apple services you have had -the better the price they offer to you at. Apparrently the Apple iPhones went out on distribution to affiliates at minimum of $50 below retail (again depending on your individual situation) plus a specified amount of AT and T contract - AT and T would not comment on wat the margin was..Jul-09-2008shannont007

min price for iphones is $380 for 8gb. Dealer cost for wholesale with contract to purchase 20k monthly is around $360 -$370. I work with Apple dealers so i know. Anyone reading this comment BE AWARE of anyone on this site or elsewhere selling iphones for under $400. Think about it. iphones are a hot commodity and if you had something in hand you knew people would pay $450 or more to get would you sell it for $200? Heck no.
RUle of thumb for new buyers just because someone can send you 20 i(Comment Removed by iOffer) new iphones $199 price tag is only through AT&T or Apple store with activation and 2 year agreement. Of which will cost you more then $60 a month. So do not believe anyone who has iphones for that price. If they will not allow (URL Removed by iOffer) fly and buy or bank LC its a scam most likely. Your target price for iphones cant be done. Since dealer cost is higher then that. And again why would a dealer sell to you at that cost when they can move thousands at more then $400? Sorry to burst your bubble but if you picked up iphones at that price then they were either stolen, fake, darn good fakes, or refurbs put in black boxesJul-04-2008 morepower
