Welcome to E's Surplus Scrapbook Supplies!

Come visit my place at "E's Surplus Scrapbook Supplies" .   I sell scrapbook supplies that are a surplus to my other business of teaching, creating and designing scrapbook layouts, pieces, techniques and project for scrappers.  I have a passion for memories being preserved and cherished.

 A Little About Me

I  tried to figure out who I really am, but couldn't come up with the right words so I'll be to the point, blunt, and honest. Which is how I am to begin with.

I have four kids, three dogs, ten fish and one husband. I've been married 18 years and have a love of scrapbooking, which has, on more than one occassion, gotten me in trouble with my collecting of books, embellishments and anything you could possibly use to scrapbook with.

I have an eclectic sense of taste and my home and books show this. I am more of a free spirit than most and not exactly traditional when it comes to elementary education as I homeschooled my kids for almost ten years.  I believe in children enjoying a stress free, fun filled, exploratory, adventurous childhood.  I love catching fireflies, feeding birds, saving lost dogs, gardening helping the homeless, and giving what I can, when I can.

I am a passionate Cardinals baseball fan and proud charter member of the Cardinal Nation.

I'm not here to make tons of money. I'm just trying to clear out the clutter in my home and scraproom that my insane need to teach and help others about creating and preserving cherished memories and how important their personal history and  families really do mean to them and others.  So I'm basically a surplus store, I guess you could say. I have so much in the way of scrapbook materials that I use in my business that I don't think I could ever possibly use it all.  That's what happens when you work in a scrapbook store for five years and just have to buy everything new that comes out.

Well, now that the 4th of July is done for another year, I just LOVE the patriotism that is shown in my circles and am moved to such emotion. I have a good friend serving in Iraq and I am so proud of him and his mission and what he has accomplished so far. He is a doctor in the National Guard and has been there almost a year now. He is teaching the Iraqis certain ways and methods and trying to help them improve their lives. I am so proud of him. And I'm so proud to be a Native American. I traced my family tree back to 1517 Scotland and they arrived and settled in Bertie County, NC in 1765 and have been here ever since. One of my great-great-great-great------grandfathers married a Cherokee woman. It really means so much to me when July 4th comes around and I realized that my family actually LIVED here during the Revolutionary War and times. It's just so amazing to me and I feel so proud to be American.

I'm a really big history buff too. Overjoyed
