I understand--we're in the same boat as far as income and I only get art supplies as needed, but I really think it'll help your sales if you alter your media a bit as you are able to. I've decided I've got to see about getting some of *my* items up in time for Christmas. :^)Dec-01-05

Artlady, I think this looks better. You might in the future consider doing your cards in a different medium, like acrylic paint on heavier stock paper (that can still be folded) for more consistent color (no obvious marks or strokes) and a more professional look overall, IMO, but that's about the only further constructive suggestion I have to make. Since most of your art does seem to be done in colored pencil and markers, however, that suggestion may be pretty useless, but it's all I can think of right now. Good luck.Nov-16-05

Hi, Artlady, I'm signing here again so you'll be sure to see this next time you come to Ioffer.
I was looking at your store again and have some suggestions that might help your sales. For instance, on the "Roses are a Kitty's Best Friend" piece, you say it's a digital photo, but you don't say whether it's loose in the box you mail it in or matted or framed--these are details potential buyers will want to know.
On the hand-made card, I think it would be better to *show* the *cover* and maybe put the inside text in the description.
And you have an item labeled not for sale, but you have a price on it at the top and bottom, including shipping costs. This is confusing.

Hi, I read your post about removing your art. I also checked your listings. You do very nice work. But your listings are somewhat confusing. Might be why you're not selling them. Or maybe it's just me that's confused.lol
I'll see if I can explain.
You have a listing for $45. But then it says that painting is not for sale. So what does the $45 buy? And the one with the eagle. I really like it but it's not for sale. I think people wants to see what they're going to be getting.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I'm just letting you know how one person thinks, maybe others think that way too. Wishing you many, many sales.
