heartprint, i am always up late. do the majority of my online work late night and early morning hours. the site seems to be faster and i am not a sleeper. i survive on very little sleep. i do scan most of my pictures and size them to 35%. very few i do with the digital camera. only if they are items to large to fit on the scanner bed. the scanner i have is a $200.00 Hewlett Packard that i pruchased about 6 years ago. it has been a good one. simple and easy to use. i just love it and will use it till it dies on me.
