Glad to see you have listed a few items. I am glad you are back. My sales have been picking up. So are others. Just leave your stuff up and when you go to community and you see the events just sign up for them and your stuff will scan. There are lots of new people here. Not just sellers. Buyers too.Aug-13-08

What is your website as I would be interested in purchasing from you? My dog Sadie loves peanut butter..but I don't have a lot of time to make her treats. You really should keep listing here as many people are moving from ebay to ioffer. I think ioffer will continue to grow rapidly as ebay is not the same as it once was. It just takes time. I started here and immediately received offers. Since it is free it is definitely worth it.

doubt that I am going to have enough room to fit all this but I will give it a try. This has been my own experience through trial and error etc.
Keywords - Placement in your profile is very important. That is what google picks up. Put them at the top of your profile. I am in the process of redoing my page but there are a couple of my friends who have redone their pages and theirs look great. Cajunc is a good place to get a good look to see how she has done hers. Don't go into detail about your personal life. Do people really care?
Sign up for events for your items to show. You will not be able to see your items in the scroll bar but others will see them.
You can also list at the event new items if you wish and they will show up and be added to your store inventory.
I sell dog items, so when I list I go to the dog club and list there because they will show up as items for sale in the club and also go to my store as inventroy as well. So, if you sell purses go to a purse club and do the same thing.
Remember that people on iOffer are not just sellers. They are buyers too. Just like ebay they have to register to become a shopper too. So, others are seeing your items at the events. Members like to get together and discuss things there. But, sales have come out of discussion. I like to sell my friends dog bisquits because I buy them and I always mention them when I see her come into a room because they are good and my dogs love them.
When at an event the items in your store are seen by others in the scroll bar but not you.
I was listing fixed price only but have gone in and changed all to make an offer too as well as asking price. The worse that can happen is you can say no. You can always list your item a little higher in case someone does make an offer you can come down.
Use Google checkout. I swear Google loves stores that use their checkout.
USE Googlebase. I uploaded several times and I cannot tell you how many times my items are being searched as well has clicked.
I don't like the way some of the people who use google base here so what I do is just download the file from ioffer then I save it into documents into a file folder with a name. Then when I go back to google base they ask for the file and then I just find it and upload it. I usually do it late at night because it will take hours.
Do not use the iOffer banner on your listings. Google will refuse it. Only use it in your listings away from iOffer.
Use keywords tool from google to find your keywords for your products.
Google google keywords and you will be able to find the tool.
Go to Cajunc to see how she is using some of her keywords.
Justify to the left and do not use colors in your profile page etc. Or on your product pages. Use black. I used to center all the time but I found out from numerous books and my daughter who owns an advertising agency that it confuses people and all they want are facts and easy to read format.
Put up lots of items in your store. People will not take you seriously if you have 5 items up. These are basically stores and not auctions.
Utilize places like Squidoo, blogs, myspace, with your widget and banners.
Read the boards.
Go poking around and ask friends if you notice something they are doing etc. You ask the question and you may find your answer!

There is a major board that talks about auctions sites. Don't listen to bad press. There are members over there that belong to the smaller auction sites and stay on all day and just post away bad mouthing sites.
It takes time and it is NOT going to be like ebay. Work, work, work.
Spread the word all over. Put it in your signature. Don't expect miracles overnight. Don't expect sales overnight. I never heard of this place and can't even tell you about where I found it. But, I think I saw the numbers and saw that it was right behind ebay so that is why I signed up here.
Hopefully things will pick up for me too!

Yes, please send me the ingredients (mostly interested in calories because I know your ingredients are wholesome). Shadow is getting so overweight and I just don't get it. We have 10 acres for her to run in and she does with her friend Josey. We have cut her food intake to 1 c. dry and 1 can wet in the morning. 2 c. dry for dinner. I'll bet she weighs over 100lbs. She has dandruff too. Our vet makes house calls and is coming next week for shots. Thanks. CarolApr-15-08

I love animals, I have a selfish cat, who hates dogs. I am working with my Vet to introduce a dog into the familiy, but my cat isn't very happy about it. Great store, when I get that dog, I will be back for treats.Apr-05-08

Hello. Thanks for visiting my store. No, I don't hunt or fish. My grandfather used to though (when he was younger). I just enjoy selling books and magazines as I'm a bookworm.
