For all former Ebay Sellers!HELLO! I would love to see how many former Ebay Sellers there are and to give everyone the chance to get to know one another. We, my husband Mark and I have been selling on Ebay for over 6 years. We sell Designer Clothing and more. My profile gives a little more detail on who we are. I still have a current EBAY account not because I want to sell again even IF they do an about face. Greed is still greed and I've personally had enough stress from EBAY. I still love going to the Community Boards on EBAY to read up on how we're doing in the Boycott. I won't sell or buy there EVER again. Please sign in by responding. We can support each other by buying from each other. I'm so busy I don't have time to go through every listing. Heres hoping to here from you. Take Care. Sherrie

PS Even if you aren't an ex-Ebay member, I'd still like to know who you are.

    Hi Sherry

I still have my EBay account open too, but just can't imagine why I would ever decide to use it again.

Hi there! I've been over ebay for about 7 yrs. total. Started out using my son's account before opening my own about 5 yrs. ago. I think ebay's had a monopoly for far too long and they need some good competition. I've been monitoring the blogs over there, too and it's been very interesting to say the least. There is a post below somewhere with a link in it to a VERY interesting conversation that all ebayers need to read. Please look for it below.

    Hi Sherrie!
Add my name, Kiki, former power seller on eBay. I agree totally with your sentiments. The stress and frustration, along with the impending doom that lurks over every sale, given the buyer's new feedback capabilities, is just too much for me.

hey guys its me tater! have the same name here for a store .. tatertots_3 so check it out. i havent blogged or sold on ebay this week, i am curious to see if the numbers are still down or not. i dont think it will have much effect though. it woud have to have been a huge drop in % for that to happen.

i have sold on ebay for about 10 years off and on. however i am now off. oh well some things change and i dont like change over and over and over.

i hope that we can all do well here and not have to go back! i would love to buy from you former ebayers though so i will shop around your items! please return the favor!

Thanks for the responses. Once I figure out how to add to my Friend list I will lol. Overjoyed If you're checking out the E Forums and blogs, in the Discussion Boards and then Seller Central, look for the Blog that has over 10,000. E**y keeps deleting page after page. Theres some funny stuff thats being put on. I'm constantly cracking up. Theres also enlightening info. Take A look. Oh yeah. How do I add friends? Might save me some time. I'm off to work again. Take Care friends. Sherrie

Hello, I am a former eBay seller also. I have sold over there for a lot of years. Way before Christmas, I joined ioffer in hopes of getting my customers over here. No sales. But I am thinking positive and maybe with this latest mess at eBay, business will pick up over here. I hope I am in a position to start selling soon. Things happening IRL have prevented me from being online much.

I also am from feebay. I had been selling for 9 years.
I had posted a few times on the SC and see that even though the number of posts are higher the pages of the posts are not increasing. Ebay is certainly deleting lots of peoples posts.
As for sales for all of us. It will be hard but my sales on Ebay had been just a trickle and not worth me paying a listing fee for items not moving. I honestly think the Economy really is a factor right now.

Hi everyone. I'm recycled-memories-by-cindy on the bay. I am still selling there, I lost my job, have bills to pay and my daughter is getting married. therefore I have to sell. For me, most of my sales come from my store and i do very well there. let's see, if i had a real store front i would never survive. The fee's i pay on the bay are not anywhere close to the overhead in a real store, plus i couldn't sell the things I do here in town. I also have a website. So far, no sales here, have had a website for 2 years and 2 sales there, ebay for 8 years and tons of sales. I'm trying to bring on my customers as i have a mailing list of over 100, but, until things start to move, i will hang with ebay, sorry. but nice to meet you all (ducking)

Hello and count me in as decidedly a former eBay seller. My eBay account is still open but I sincerely doubt I will ever use it again. Scared to death of the new "improvements" (insert canned laughter there) that the dynamic duo of eBay and PayPal have in store for their sellers. It will be very interesting indeed, come May, to see just how many of the die-hard true-to-eBay sellers who are posting on the discussion boards at eBay will continue to stick up for that outfit. We shall see.
