I know I'll have alot of opinions on this topic. Well I hope anyway.. I WAS on eBay until I got suspended for 'so-called coming close' to breaking certain rules. I don't get it. Did I, or Didn't I. I was buying AutoCAD 2004 full version and selling it. The providers site states specifically that he occasionmally brings on some additional resellers. Now, can you sell it or not. I always thought that the buyer doesn't actually own the license until it is activated. I read some where tonight that you buy the license and never own the cd. eBay's biddest beef was that I was usin the words OEM and BUNDLED software, which they say is against their regulations. IF SO, WHY IS IT THAT I WAS ON GOOGLE JUST BEFORE AND TYPER IN KEY SOFTWARE RESELLER, AND LOW AND BEHOLD ON THE RIGHT SIDE ADVERTISEMENT IT STATES (ARE YOU ALL READY) OEM SOFTWARE-CHEAPEPEST ON THE INTERNET, GUESS WHERE...YOU GOT IT. IT'S AN EBAY AD. SOMEONE PLEASE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS TOPIC BECAUSE NOT ONLY AM I TIOCKED THATIGSIFDTM

the way they get around the 'OEM' is to sell a piece of hardware with it. It could be a 1 cent jummper but it must be included to be an actual piece of OEM software.

I don't understand their reasoning either. I buy items wholesale and sell them. Technically that is reselling items, but then isn't all sales a resell then. What ID did you sell under at the e. collections4u

Ebay is worried about copyright infringements. The hardware with the software is their way of covering their butt so no one can sue ebay. They don't care a lot about you or your sale.

Contrary to what Ebay says.. Power sellers do get preferential treatment and the rules are very often 'softened' for them. Ebay does not find your 'questionable' stuff your competition does and reports you. Remember power sellers have a 1-800 number to report you, for you to report them takes a week and by then the auction has ended, how convenient for the ebay decision department.

Do what the scamers do - regester another ID. Say your Ebay ID is jk7490 - Now make it jk7940 or something like that. Make an new 'About Me' page an them point to your old ID which will say 'Not a Registered User' but show your feedback and just say you closed your acount during the boycott but now you are back but were required to make a new ID...BTW I got that off one of the Ebay User Forums.

I didnt and dont sell software. I just wondered because I did buy software and paid, and then they kicked the seller off.

I was selling on eBay Windows XP OEM they dropped
my listing few times (and few times let it go).
What I could not get, why on ebay on everage couple hundreds of Windows OEM listing (exactly like mine from eBay stores and powersellers) and they did not drop them.

I even tried to put statement that I am selling it
with piece of hardware, did't help. They still dropped my listing.

As I understand, that selling OEM software rules should be the same for everybody?
