Yep...Ebay is really getting greedy about things. I wish iOffer had the same following ebay has. It's sad that a company that treats it's sellers so poorly can do so well. Let's hope iOffer really gets a lot more action now! :-) I would love to have my store solely on iOffer!!! :-)
I'm sure I'm not the only ebay seller who feels slighted. Their fees are bad enough as it is....so I dread when they go up Feb. 18. Enough is enough!
Well...I'm off to see what others are saying.
Peace out
fellow iOffer sellers (and buyers)....

I agree with those ebay fees. Sometimes you have to list something several times before it sells and Ebay fees eats up all the profit. They seem to get a lot more traffic than ioffer does, but maybe we can cause a change to happen. There are wonderful bargains in ioffer. People just are not aware of it.

I discovered iOffer about a year ago, and still continue to use feepay as well as some other sites. One thing I have done to draw attention iOffer (face it, not many know about it) is to add a postscript to the end of all my emails, both the one I use for this business as well as my personal one telling everyone about the site and inviting them to check it out. If we want traffic here, we all have to do our part to promote it in some way. If I can say this here, another site you might want to check is GlobalBidding. Love how smooth it works, but seems only 35 people know about it.

I hate to say it but if feebay has copied almost all of the best of ioffer
What is left
they try to buy ioffer
I love it here at ioffer but who knows we're here? I have no sales
or offers. it's like I don't exisit. at least once in a while some thing sells at feebay. As much as I hate the store fee rise
I'm staying for another month.

Try showcasing your items at the Come and Get It club. Also, sign guestbooks, inviting people to your store. And look thru the ratings of others that sell similar items and sign their customers' guestbooks! Advertise yourself at the Scoop Shop! It will take some time. eBay wasn't an overnight success either!

Hi everyone,
I have a friend that has sent several emails over the last 2 weeks to ioffer's customer service department, as well as to Ricky, and no one is responding. Is there any other way to contact these guys?
By the way...I do not see as to where I can begin a new topic, so...how is this done? Thanks.

Scandiwoman, I answered your inquiry in the other thread, and as well for everyone else, you can ask on this or other boards and many of the longer term users can often help.
To help increase and build sales, sign guestbooks, participate some on the boards, join the malls (you can be on several,no problem there)and promote your self ! You get a free store here, and one of the things I do is to send out a coupon good for 10 % off on the next purchase from my Ioffer store, no matter what venue I have sold on.
Talk on other boards/sites as well. Apex has a free want /sell ad that helps to promote your store as well.
Make a free mini website and advertise your astore and 1 or 2 items with links to your store on a freebie site. Even though Ioffer gets us in the searches, I put my sites in with google and froogle about every 6 weeks or so, to catch updates, etc..
Have some fun, chat and find out how it works and how you want your store to be.
If I can help, just let me know.
