The closest I could get from the books I have and searching the internet is that this is a Brittany shape with Hemlock Red pattern, but could find nothing with the flowers in the center. 9-3/4" diameter, serving bowl. 3" high. Homer Laughlin, Made in USA, E 51 N B

I am not sure of the pattern but if you will visit replacements dot com, and click on the letter for the maker in your case L for laughlin then scroll about 1/4 way down and you will see a blue bar then the pattern names just click on the bar it will show you the gallery views and you can scroll through them by pictures instead of pattern name. Makes it much easier to search for patterns. Hope this helps, you also might want to visit grandmas cupboard a club here on ioffer also. Its just a general china and pottery forum.

Hi Bobbie, Thanks for you response. I did finally find out too that it was a bowl that was not part of a dinnerware set and was sold at Woolworth's stores.

I'll look for the club you mentioned. Carol

If you need help with patterns and shapes, I have many internet bookmarks for references. I also do (Comment Removed by iOffer) I am also experienced as a dinnerware replacement locator (as a side hobby). Instead of looking through all the images, you can type in search queries like "Homer Laughlin gold trim/band purple (etc) flowers/floral" as an item description. You just have to guess as to how the employee puts the description on the website. Like trim and band are used interchangeble
