I will soon be 63. I'm a proud mom of 4 grown kids, g-ma of 11 & 1 g~g-child, but not really happy about the senior citizen thing. I didn't know I was a senior citizen until a waiter pointed out the senior citizen menu a couple years ago. That was just rude! LOL
I was so happy to see, I'm not the only senior here. Approve

Won't be long and you will be celebrating another birthday... I sure hope it is a happy and memorable one. I have often thought that getting older is WAY THE HECK BETTER THAN THE ALTERNATIVE! Sly
Hummmmmmmmmm. Pointing out the Senior Citizen menu, huh? That may truly be yucky, but it does make me think about how funny it is that the wait staff can create long-lasting memories. For example: Several years ago, my grown daughter, who was well over 21 at the time, went with my husband & I to New Orleans. Every place we stopped to eat, the wait staff brought her a child's menu or pointed out the children's section of the menu. After a couple of days of that she finally decided that perhaps she should just go ahead and eat cheap instead of correcting them all time.
I could not help but point out that someday she would appreciate being mistaken for someone much younger.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and wonderful holiday season.

Silly Thank you...so much! I had a wonderful birthday. My family gave me a party, with a huge surprise. My youngest daughter and her two daughters appeared out of no-where.
There they were, just standing in my kitchen. For an instant, I almost asked, can anyone else see them standing there? Maybe I had lost it?
I could hear this fool, yelling and crying...Oh my God! I think that fool was me.
They had planned the surprise since the 1st of December. I'm not sure how they put that over on me, but I don't care. I loved every minute of it.
I had (most) all my family together at the same time...my favorite times. Sly
