    Ciao
    Just go to the top of your (Page) click the word (Sell)don't use the drop down box, just click sell it gives you more categories, then on the next page rest your (Cursor)on list an item for sale, you will see a drop down box with (Categories)once you pick you (Categorie)you will also see on the right it says sub (Categories)you can use that also.Make sure to use your key words in your title of the item and in the start of your description box ,these will make categories in your store.

    You can only choose the category before you list, not after it is listed. You have the option to change the sub category after it is listed, but I'm not sure it will show up. Happy

    Yes Mary is right you would have to end the item to change the main categories for items already listed then start a new listing for the item.

    What you want if all your items are (Electronics) do what I said before ,then click on the (Sub Category's) then click on (Cell Phone) where the plus sign is that will open more sub's, do the same where it say's (Electronics() in the sub box that will also open more and use the (Keywords) for the items also .Your title box and the start of your description box are also for keywords which will make categories in your store on the left.

    I have but the list are still in just one category Electronics
    Crying
    I dont get it
    I know what your saying the subcategory i the page when im listing an item under electronic the sub cagegory on the righ with the dropdown option
    i iknow but its still only in the ecectronic all my listing are in there even the new listings i made

    You have to give it time to update and your sub Categories don't show up on the left in your store.but they work in store search.Also use your keywords,The category's on the left is from the keyword boxes for your top 10 items,they are not sub category's

    What keyword boxes and what top ten items where do i find my top then items
    In some sites for Example someones selling comic
    they would have cataegorys for like
    spiderman and there would be spiderman comic in there and the marvel theen there would be marvel comic, DC comics ect. ect.

    When you list and item there are 4 boxes on that page (keyword tags) you can put 2 words in each box you also have your main category and your sub category,there is only main category for what your selling ,you have to use your keyword box's,Title box at the top of your page and the sub categories.The top words in the Key word boxes and title box will show up in your store as a Categories.

    I think your having problems because in your title box you have thing's that should be in the description box ,title box should be the item first like mine for music cd would be lets say Bruse Springsteen Greatest Hits Rock ,now lets say I have 50 cd's with Rock and Greatest Hits in the title those names would appear on the left of my store as a Greatest Hits categorie and a Rock categorie.And the first ten or so words in the description box should used the same way.They become Categories and go into search.

    i think i get it so for example i put nokia n95 cell phone on the title of one listing
    then if i have 20 more items with the name nokia in the title it will make a nokia category in the left ?
