This is a really nice instrument. For those of you who already own a White Wolf dulcimer, I need say no more. The overall length is 31", and the scale length is 27". It has four strings and a 6 1/2 fret. This dulcimer has a spruce fretboard and a cedar body. It is a slimline acoustic/electric that is 1 3/4" thick. It plays at a moderate volume on its own, and it has a stealth mounted piezo pickup with an RCA jack on the rear of the peghead. Plug this baby into a guitar amplifier and get as loud as you want to. Imagine a dulcimer with full effects, playing at 1000 watts! I have used these dulcimers professionally to record songs for my CD releases. Here is a link to a song played on this electric dulcimer:
