For your consideration we have this very nice china set. There are 8, 7 piece place settings. Not all of the pieces have a backstamp and I have included scans of the 2 different styles of backstamps that are on the backs/bottoms of the ones that do have backstamps. I do not know the maker but think the set is probably by Homer Laughlin. None of the cups are stamped. You will receive:
8 Dinner/Luncheon plates which measure approximately 9 1/4" across
8 Salad plates which measure approximately 7 1/8" across
8 Saucers which measure approximately 6" across
8 Cups which stand a little about 2" tall
8 Fruit/dessert bowls which measure approximately 5 1/2" across
8 Soup/salad bowls which measure approximately 7 1/2" across
8 Bread/Dessert plates which measure approximately 6" across
Overall this set is in very good condition. I don't see any chips or cracks. I saw a couple of spots where the gold trim has been bumped and these spots are nicked, but not chipped. I noticed heavy crazing on 1 of the bread/dessert plates. There is very little if any crazing on the other pieces. There are a few normal utensil marks on some but not all of the pieces. A couple of the cups have some brown stain on the insides and medium to heavy gold loss on the trim. 2 of the dinner plates have medium to heavy gold loss on the trim and 1 of the fruit bowls has quite a bit of gold loss on the trim. Some of the pieces do not have any gold loss on the trim and some have minor gold loss.
Although not mint condition, even with the areas noted above, this set is in very good condition. You would be able to get 4 near perfect place settings and the other 4 don't look bad.
