The following listing is for two really gorgeous antique cast iron clamps. They have wonderful screws with hand pounded ends. Both are in very good condition with just great patina, and only a tiny bit of surface rust that I really mention just for accuracy's sake. One measures about 5" and the other approximately 4 1/2", with the screws tightened as far as they will go. (one does not screw in all the way and has a couple of threads showing) These are from one of the homes we bought contents of here in the area. I will be listing another pair of vintage clamps (not as early as these) as well, so you may want to check them out for combined shipping purposes.

I ask that you please answer my email. Since email is not fool proof, I can't know if we're communicating when you don't respond. If you send a 'request for total' as your response, please mention that you did receive my initial email if you would, as the 'request for total' does not indicate to me that you've gotten my message. I'm trying to avoid the impersonal nature of automatic winning bidder notification, and invoices.

Also, it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know when your item arrives. I keep all correspondence and photos until either an eternity has passed, or you let me know all has gone well, in case of problems, damage, etc. Due to the charges for image hosting, it's essential that I'm able to delete photos I no longer need. Buyer pays fixed shipping costs and insurance. This figure is based on actual shipping (in most cases, it is actual shipping). I use the term 'fixed' only because there are occasional discrepancies between my scale and that of the Post Office, which is digital. Money orders and Paypal ship immediately; allow 10 business days for personal checks to clear before shipping.
