Start selling with Google Checkout

Google Checkout is a payment system that supports most major credit cards and is
a fast, secure checkout process that helps persuade shoppers to buy from your store and buy more often.

If buyers have used Google Checkout in the past, they simply enter their Google Checkout login emails and passwords to complete purchases from you - they won't have to enter their payment and shipping information each time they buy. Buyers who haven't used Google Checkout before can sign up for Google Checkout as part of the purchasing process.

iOffer has recently integrated with Google Checkout to allow sellers to process buyer payments through Google Checkout. Signup now by following the simple steps below and start selling more !

Step 1 - Sign up for Google Checkout

If you already have a Google Checkout Merchant Account, please proceed to Step 3 to retrieve your Merchant ID. If you don't, then you will need to sign up for one.

In addition to your contact information, Google Checkout requires the federal tax ID number for your business or a credit card and the Social Security number associated with that card.

Also be sure to have a text-only version of your return, cancellation and shipping policies.

Step 2 - Configure your Google Checkout Account

Sign in and click on the Settings tab. Click on the Integration link on the left side of that page. Uncheck the box underneath the Shopping cart post security header:





After removing the check from the checkbox, click the Save button to save your settings.

NOTE: iOffer will be unable to communicate with Google Checkout unless this checkbox is unchecked.

Step 3 - Locate your Merchant ID

To let iOffer send Google Checkout your sales information, you must supply your Merchant ID. Your Merchant ID is a 10 or 15 digit number, found on the right side of the Integration page under the Account Information header.

Once you have located your Merchant ID, go to your iOffer Selling Preferences page, enter your Merchant ID, and click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.


Congratulations! You are now able to receive payments from buyers via Google Checkout!
