What is Google Base and how can it help drive traffic to your iOffer Store?

Google Base is a search function usually used by people looking to purchase an item. Search results come up with details about the item and a link to a your items on iOffer.

In your Google Base items page is where you upload your iOffer items and buyers can find them in Google, don't worry we'll provide you with the file you need below and show you how to set one up in 5 short steps (shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes).

*** IMPORTANT: Google Base only takes items with prices. So, be sure your items are listed with an asking price to ensure your items are uploaded properly to Google Base.

Step 1 - Sign into Google Base

Head on over to Google Base and either Sign In or Set Up an account with Google Base.

If you do not have a Google Account it only takes a minute or two and it won't cost you a dime.

Once you get an account setup or you login, click on the Data Feeds link to upload a new data feed with your items.

Step 2 - Update your Google Base settings

Before uploading your file you will need to fill out your settings first.

Step 4 - Upload your file to Google Base

On the Data Feeds page, click Upload File under the Uploads heading. Click Browse to locate your file (saved in step 3). Click on the Upload and process this file button to process your data feed file.

It will take several minutes to upload your file, requiring up to an hour for your items to appear. If this is your first data feed file upload, it may take even longer, often up to 24 hours.

Recommendation: Upload your data feed file to Google Base whenever you add items to your iOffer Store.

Google Base gives your items more exposure. The more iOffer items you send to Google Base, the higher your chances of selling!

*** NOTE: Depending on the number of items you have, it may take up to 30 seconds for your file to download. ***
