Buyer Help
Buying on iOffer is easy. When you find an item you like, you can purchase the item immediately or make an offer to the seller. Manage all buying activities under My iOffer > Buying.
How to Buy
Find It - Search titles, descriptions, and item numbers or Browse All Categories.
Buy Now - Purchase the item immediately. Follow instructions on the invoice to complete the payment. When you receive the item, rate the transaction.
Ask a Question - Ask the seller any item-related questions before the purchase.
Make an Offer - Send an offer price to the seller to start a negotiation. Negotiations continue until an agreement is reached.
Group Offer - Send one offer to multiple sellers on similar or matching items. The first seller to accept the offer wins your business.
Add to Cart / Bundle Offer - Add items from the same seller to your shopping cart. Make one combined offer for all of the items in that seller's shopping cart.
All negotiations (questions and offers) are publicly displayed on the item detail pages. If you can't find an item, don't leave without
posting a free Want Ad. You'll be notified when the item is found.
Payment
Once you purchase an item or agree to an offer, proceed to the checkout process to pay for your purchase. Wait for the seller to contact you if you do not receive an invoice automatically.
iOffer provides multiple payment methods for you to pay for an item. Your payment options are dependent on what the seller accepts, which may include: Google Checkout, Mpayy, PayPal, Amazon Payments, checks, or money orders.
Rating
After you receive the item, please leave a feedback rating for the seller. Ratings build the seller's reputation and helps prospective buyers make informed buying decisions.
Buying Tips
- Read the Buyer Safety Guide
- Always review the seller's past transaction history and feedback rating to ensure a good seller business reputation.
- Ask the seller questions to fully understand the buying terms and item details.
- Read item descriptions carefully. Make sure you understand the shipping charges.
- Make an offer for an item only if you intend to purchase it. You are required to complete the transaction if your offer is accepted, as stated in the User Agreement.
- Make a reasonable offer to speed up the negotiation process.
- Pay promptly. If you don't hear from the seller after 3 business days, contact them.
