This is a museum quality reproduction of a very unusual and rare Navy Pilot wing of WWII. The wing is shown on page 71 of the book United States Wings of Gold. Notice this wing does not have berries in the shoulder so many may think it was pre-war. Also it was jeweler made and not mass produced by one of the wing manufacturers making it very hard to find. The original was cast as is this reproduction. This wing is missing from many collections. Here is a chance to have one until an original comes along. "Wonderful Item that is better in person than viewed on line, I'd suggest images that can be enlarged to view. My grand father served as a S1C in squadron (Ron5) aboard PT108, one of the few MTB's to go through the entire war intact only to be purposely destroyed by fire with other PT's on 11 Nov 1945."
