Not much is known about this insignia it is believe it was
worn by Officers in France of the Courier Service of the Military
Postal Express and is shown as figure 47-1 of the Encyclopedia of
United States Insignia and Uniforms by William Emerson. This is a
museum quality reproduction of that insignia, hallmarked 925 which
is the European making for sterling. An extremely rare item of
Postal Military history. If you love greyhounds what a great pin.
Sure to be missing from most collar insignia collections. Notice
this has the solid background as the original and not the cut out
version. The pin is 1 7/8 inches wide.
