Item Description
Liese Jean Scott was a protege of Amado Maurilio Pena. They met while she was a young student in Anderson High School and he was her art teacher. For many years, she studied under him and she developed into quite a unique artist.
Quiet and friendly, this young artist came to be the darling of the southwest in the early 80s.
She retired from professional painting in 1989 and sought other interests.
Her originals are rare to come by and they are hard to find even in the secondary market.
Take advantage whenever you see a Liese Jean Scott and purchase her work...especially her originals.
She showed her work in various galleries, but her home gallery was El Taller Gallery in the early 80s...
