Once Upon the Wabash,This is a rare early 1950's Public Domain Color documentary about The Blue Bird passenger Train of the Wabash railroad,titled "Once Upon the Wabash" This shows a young couple Driving Thier 1940's Convertable as The couple see's the Blue Bird Train on the Wabash Passing by and wishes they could be a passenger,"It's Fun Being a Passenger"and as the magic train guy,makes thier wish come true,next you can see the couple on the train in the Blue Bird Room,as well as the Murals / Art painting,as well as tour of the train,sleeping cars roofed cars,air conditioned parlor cars,and a great example of american life,and History,shows a band playing music and people dressed up like 1838 to celebrate November 8,1838,The Rogers Train first railroad trip ever made in the Mississippi Valley as the song 'Bank on the Wabash"is played,shows how railroad transports all over the country,farm to city to the Heart of Detroit,Chicago,Omaha,great footage and narration,this is all rare color footage,now on dvd,this film was found and repaired some Dialoge,and footage is missing,but approx 90% was saved and available for everyone to see 18:40
