Vintage Valence silverplate compote footed dish tray bonbon dish maybe Baldwin Miller hollowware. This is a 7 1/2 inch round silverplate footed compote or tray with a deep etching of scrolls and leaves.
It is marked on the back with a Valence BMCo mark and 2007. It is like a bonbon dish with a cupped plate for holding nuts or petit fours. It is about 2 1/4 inches tall, and other than some minor scratches, it has no damage. It is not new, of course, but is an older piece and shows no wear through. This may be Baldwin Miller, but silver is not my specialty, so I do not know for sure. This piece is not stained. It picked up the color of something else in the room that makes the back look brown.
