1991 Commemorative 5 Roubles Coin from USSR (Russia)
- Obverse: USSR National Coat of Arms, the famous 'hammer and sickle', with CCCP (USSR) and '5 Roubles' underneath.
- Reverse: Matenadaran building in Erevan, Armenia.(Matenadaran or Mashtots Institute of Ancient Documents is one of the biggest collections of world documents and manuscripts.)
- Edge lettering: 5 Roubles, with 5-pointed stars in between
This coin has hardly been out of the mint bag. Full brilliant luster, exquisite detail. They can be easily graded 'Brilliant Uncirculated'.
I have recently received a large shipment of Russian(USSR) commemorative coins. I will be listing more of these.
*Рубль is sometimes transliterated as Rouble, and sometimes as Ruble.
