Item Description
In exchange for an early parole, convicted thief Edmond O'Brien agrees to experimental brain surgery that will eradicate his criminal impulses. But the operation takes away his memory as well, and when his former partners come looking for their share of the money he stole, he's on the run. With his girlfriend Audrey Totter along for the ride, and strange dreams leaving clues to events in his past, he races to survive right up to the finale, a wild ride on an amusement park roller coaster. Released by Columbia, The Man in the Dark was the first 3-D feature from a major studio.
