This VERY RARE Nero Wolfe film is on a DVD+R disc in either
NTSC (US) or PAL (UK, Europe) format.
Please make sure you specify PAL if you prefer this
format.
Synopsis:
Nero Wolfe & Archie Goodwin are hired to
investigate the mysterious deaths of men who share a guilty past:
as college students, they hazed a young man named Paul Chapin, who
sustained crippling injuries as a result. Atoning for this,
the group now finds that their numbers are being reduced one by
one, with the survivors receiving letters stating, "Ye should have
killed me...."
Walter Connolly ("Father Brown, Detective," "It Happened One
Night," "Nothing Sacred") stars in Columbia Pictures' second Nero
Wolfe film, based on the second Wolfe novel by Rex Stout.
Lionel Stander (Max in "Hart to Hart") co-stars as Archie
Goodwin. Also in the cast: Eduardo Cianelli, Irene
Hervey, and Victor Killian. Released in 1937, the B&W
film runs time is approximately 67 minutes. (This
is the companion film to "Meet Nero Wolfe" (1936) which starred
Edward Arnold & Lionel Stander.)
This film comes with a full menu system, bonus extras

artwork, & case; it ships in a padded mailer.
Note: The print is on the harsh, grainy side,
probably 7 out of 10 for quality. (See the frame grabs.)
