THE INFILTRATOR: Dr Sanderson (Scott Bakula), while experimenting with teleportation, manages to merge himself with an experimental probe that is designed to adapt automatically to any threat. The young scientist is then recruited by a secret government agency to go on missions. In the first mission, he has to deal with a rogue scientist who has rigged his island fortress with death traps. As the probe technology adapts itself to higher and higher threat levels, Dr Sanderson finds himself becoming less and less human. The movie also stars Deborah Mullowney and Charles Keating.
This is a VERY RARE television pilot that originally aired on CBS back on October 14, 1987. It was one of several episodes which were a part of the CBS Summer Playhouse Series. As the series was never picked up, none of the pilot movies became actual shows. To the best of my knowledge, this movie has neither aired since it's original airing, nor has it been released onto VHS or DVD. It has been transferred from it's original video onto a DVD for customer convenience. The movie is in color and approximately 46 minutes in length. I would rate the picture quality at about a "7". If you are only interested in store-bought quality DVDs, please think twice before making a purchase. That said, it is a MUST HAVE for the Die-Hard Sci-fi and / or Scott Bakula collector.
This is a Region 1 DVD and will play fine on both the American and Canadian systems. I will consider overseas customers, but you will need to have a "O" region or multi-region DVD player. I will not refund if this DVD does not play on your machine - so please make sure it will. Also, due to the ease of copying DVDs these days I am unable to offer any refunds on my RARE DVDs. My customers seem to be quite satisfied though, as reflected in my feedback ratings.... NOTE: I am also an Ebay Seller with a 100% Positive Feedback Rating ............
Sorry, but there is no artwork included (as I don't have the equipment to do this). It will arrive securely in a solid blank plastic DVD cover. Oh, and THANKS so much for your interest!!!
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Any dust marks seen on photos are from the T.V. screen and NOT on the actual DVD.
