Sherry, the musical version of The Man Who Came
To Dinner, opened on Broadway on March 28th, 1967 and closed
on May 27th after only 72 performances. The music was by
Laurence Rosenthal and the lyrics were by James Lipton. The
Broadway production starred Clive Revill, Dolores Gray and
Elizabeth Allen. The show had a Pre Broadway engagement
in Boston where George Sanders starred with Dolores Gray and
Elizabeth Allen. This is a live recording made during one of those
performances and although not studio produced, the quality
is decent. CD is sent without liner notes, inserts
