Item Description
This is a replica of a denarius of Julius Caesar that was struck between January and March 44 B.C. The obverse shows a wreathed head of Caesar facing right with the inscription CAESAR DICT PERPETVO. The reverse shows a faces, winged caduceus in saltire, clasped hands, globe, axe, and legend in four angles. (Sear 1409) Each coin is stamped 'COPY' on the reverse.
