This doll is the third edition in the series.    Kathy has blonde hair worn in two ponytails with a blue scarf wrapped around her head.  She wears a work dress with a big white apron.  Donnie is dressed in blue and white polka dot pajamas and holds a yellow crayon in his hand with which he drew a sweet picture for his mommy.  The picture that Kathy has in her hands says "Mommy you're a princess, you're as sweet as you can be, you're the nicest mom I know, you mean the world to me."  Kathy is the only Precious Moments doll that has a molded tear on her cheek.
