I am pleased to offer on
DVD-R to collectors and
fans of legendary crooner PERRY COMO
this collection of VERY RARE and SELECT
performances from his TV appearances plus
two bonus film songs and a mini-bio.

PERRY COMO on TV

with special guests..
Part 1: Perry is guest on ‘Evening At Pops’ with John Williams conducting the Boston Pops Orch. Perry sings a 15 minute medley of Bing Crosby Hits, a personal tribute to his idol. He closes his segment with “Wind Beneath My Wings”. The orchestra plays ‘McNamara’s Band’, a Crosby favorite. ( March 1987)

Part 2: Nov. 1987- guest on the “Regis and Kathy Lee’ show. Perry sings ‘It Could Happen To You’ with his longtime music arranger Nick Perrito at piano. Perry had just recently returned from Ireland where he taped his last Christmas Holiday TV Special.
A very comical intro to this segment has Regis searching
the Florida Keys in a motorboat hoping to locate Perry and asking folk there
if they knew of him and if they had recently seen him..

Part 3: April 1984- excerpt. from his colorful special “Easter In Mexico”.
Perry’s guests are CHARO, ANN GILLIAN, and a young Mexican boy-singer.
Songs performed include “Cu-cu-ru-Cu-cu Paloma”, “Easter Parade”, “El Rancho
Grande”, ‘What A Picture (in the Family Album)’. Following the traditional
ceremony of blessing of the animals, Perry sings “Bless the Beasts and the
Children”. He later renders the seldom heard ballad “Worlds Away”. Charo on
Spanish Flamenco Guitar amazes with a blazing performance of
“ Malaguena/Granada” with full orchestra. She then accompanies Perry on
“We’ll Meet Again”. “The Lord’s Prayer”, a reminder of the Easter Feast, is Perry’s closing number.

Part 4: a) 1984- At Kennedy Center- sings”Young At Heart” honoring Frank Sinatra.
b) 1992- Veterans Day- sings ‘No Other Love’ plus WW2 songs
‘For Me And My Gal’ and ‘We’ll Meet Again”.
Part 5: 1948- three bonus film songs by Rodgers and Hart: 'Blue Room',
‘Mountain Greenery’, ‘With A Song In My Heart’.
