Brief History: History: Motley Crue was formed in Los Angeles, CA. Vince Neil was born Vince Wharton on February 8, 1961, Mick Mars was born Bob Deal on April 3, 1956, Nikki Sixx was born Frank Ferranna on December 11, 1958, and Tommy Lee was born Thomas Bass on October 3, 1962. In 1994, Neil was replaced by John Corabi for one album. On December 23, 1996, Sixx married Donna D'Errico. From 1986 to 1993, Lee was married to Heather Locklear, and to Pamela Anderson from 1995 to 1998. In April of 1999, Lee left the group and formed Methods Of Mayhem. In early 2000, Randy Castillo joined as drummer; he died March 26, 2002.
