Item Description
Up for offer: this rare 1978 TV movie that was developed as a pilot for CBS, aired as a special in 1978, but never made it to series.

Plot: The story of Dr. Stephen Strange (Hooten), a psychiatrist who becomes endowed with Hermedic Arts—the ability to control the elements of the universe—by Thomas Lindmer (Mills), an ageing sorcerer who is no longer able to continue his battle against evil, and how Morgan LeFay, beautiful Dark Queen of Evil, seeks to destroy Lindmer before he can transfer his powers to Strange. Based on the Marvel comic.

Title is the unedited original version. Title comes on DVD-R media with a plastic case (will be either clear or black plastic) and artwork shown in the picture. Disc is region-free and is in its original NTSC format.

Quality is good considering the source material (it is a 1970s TV production and the film/telecine transfer was made in the early 1980s. The quality is about on the same level as an off-the-air--or rental--SP VHS recording (see screen-shots).
IF YOU WANT MORE THAN ONE ITEM FROM ME, add them to your shopping cart and make me an offer instead of just buying outright. I'll respond with a counter-offer that includes a multi-item shipping discount, to help take some of the sting out of the January 2016 rate increases!
ATTENTION NON-USA iOFFER USERS: the US Postal Service recently raised shipping rates on international mail BY ALMOST 25% on single-item purchases. Just bundle all the items as a "store negotiation" and I'll counter-offer you with the discounted shipping price.

ADDITIONAL PAYMENT OPTION FOR NON-US BUYERS: In addition to the normal payment options, I also accept email gift cards with for the flat amount of £16.00 sterling (which includes postage to the UK). Just choose "money order" or "check" for payment method, then click "contact seller" to ask me for the email address to send the voucher to if you wish to use this payment method (it allows you to avoid currency conversion, etc, avoid being forced to use PayPal, etc.).
