This is a copy of an AR shekel struck in the first year of the First jewish Revolt.This two sided replica is made from original coins from the British Museum.The obverse shows an omer cup with smooth rim, a pearl on each side, with the base with bearled ends. The reverse shows a stem with pearled base with pomegranates around the inscription 'Jerusalem [the] holy.' This piece was struck between 66 to 67 CE.
