On March 17, 1990 an AIDS benefit titled That's What Friends Are For: Arista Records 15th Anniversary Concert was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. One month later, CBS aired a two-hour version of the concert on television. The celebrity guests and Arista label performers were: Air Supply - All Out Of Love, Lauren Bacall, Burt Bacharach, Eric Carmen - All By Myself, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Clive Davis, Taylor Dayne - I'll Be Your Shelter, Michael Douglas, Expose - Come Go With Me, Whoopi Goldberg, Melanie Griffith, Hall & Oates, Jennifer Holliday - And I Am Telling You, Whitney Houston - I Wanna Dance With Somebody, The Greatest Love Of All & That's What Friends Are For, Alan Jackson, Kenny G, Melissa Manchester - Don't Cry Out Loud, Barry Manilow - Medley Of Hits, Milli Vanilli - Girl You Know Its True, Jeffrey Osborne, Carly Simon, Patti Smith - People Have The Power, Lisa Stansfield - All Around The World (1st Performance In the US), The Four Tops - Medley of Hits, and Dionne Warwick - I'll Never Love This Way Again.
