This is a TRUE 1/25 dealer promotional of the 1980 Ford Mustang Cobra beautifully finished in gleaming black with bright green SILKKSCREENED Cobra graphics. Having terminated promotional models after 1975, Ford was going to return with a series of models including, Mercury & Lincoln! Unfortunately the Mustang, being the 1^st issue was delayed by US Customs, and not released until late in the 1980 model yr, at which time Ford cancelled future orders. This model was produced in very limited quantity and is molded in black, clear, clear red & plated parts. It features highly detailed interior, visible through the moonroof, chassis & plated rims with Firestone Radial tires! These models are authentic in every detail to the real car. This model has not been used OR abused! Overall the model is extremely good and is as shipped from the factory in '80 including the extremely fragile plated side-view mirrors which are included, but intended to be installed buy the buyer.
