This is a reproduction of a Roman brass sestertius of Nero. The obverse shows a wreathed head of Nero facing right. The reverse shiows the harbor of Ostia, showing the pier, breakwaters, lighthoue, and ships; the figure of Tiber reclining left in foreground holding a rudder and dolphin. Struck in 37 CE in Rome.
