  ACER palmatum 'Beni maiko' 
The new leaves emerge a brilliant fire engine red then turn pink then eventually fade to greenish red with prominent red veins. Fall the color is orange and red.  A great semi-dwarf maple reaching only 8' tall with a twiggy dense habit.  Perfect for the small garden.  The name translates to "A Red dancing girl".
