There are 5 of these older issues of Workbasket magazine in this group, and they are about 5x7 inch size and about 50-60 pages of great knitting, crochet and sewing, quilting and crafts information and patterns. These booklets or magazines are originals from 1978, and include the following issues with patterns and instructions for crochet, sewing, tatting, and knitting:

January 1978 has a baby sweater and cap to knit, as well as a tea cozy. There is a tote bag in afghan stitch and a triangle afghan to crochet. There is a Bargello pillow and a fisherman scarf to knit. Nearly every issue has a tatted doily. This issue also has string windings to make.

February 1978 has the diamond pattern sweater to knit as well as womens lounging socks and a pullover vest. There is a boys jacket to crochet, citrus slices hot mats and a sweater jacket. There is also a jacket with a loop stitch collar, and a handkerchief edge to tat. There is a special article on making silk roses.

April 1978 a needlepoint pillow and a tatted placemat. There is the wrap jacket to crochet and a sweater to knit. There is also a garter stitch jacket and a fitted knit tunic.

May 1978 has a knit tabard on the cover, and a pig stuffed animal to crochet. There is a tatted collar and cuff set and a baby outfit to knit. There is a striped afghan to crochet.

June 1978 has a jacket to knit and a tote bag. Hat and booties are to crochet and a round doily and napkin rings. There is a sunflower doily to tat. There is a calico cat to sew, as well as a gardeners apron.

None of these issues have the center transfer patterns.

These booklets or magazines do not smell of smoke or perfume. They have been used, and have some storage wear and yellowing of the pages and edge damage as well as tears on the front cover, but have no significant damage. All of the information is intact except the transfers--and there may never have been any. You get all five at one price.
