It is ISBN 0-671-68306-3 and includes fables, folklore, fiction, drama and more by authors like Aesop, Dickens, Tolstoy, Shakespeare and Baldwin, presented to teach virtues including compassion, courage, honesty, friendship and faith.

William J. Bennett is a contemporary author, born in 1943, and this book is from 1993. He was Secretary of Education under Reagan. It is about 830 pages in about 6 x 9 inch format.

This book is in great condition, and originally cost $30. It has some very minor wear to the dust jacket, but the book has no damage. It has been in a smoke-free and perfume-free environment.
