It was printed by the U.S. Governemnt Printing Office: 1942-0-437059. On the bottom of the left hand corner it reads: Form DSS 189A. The poster must have been tearing from the folding back them and someone applied a small piece of tape to the bottom. It looks like an old piece of tape too!
The mid section of the poster, on the folding line appear to be staple like marks. I didn't think they stapled them back then. Otherwise there are some small tears and flea bites. Make an offer, we might surprise you and take it!
This poster has been smoothed out quite well for the age of the piece. It is on a cardboard backing with shrinkwrap. The piece measures approximately 19 1/2 inches wide x 30 inches tall.
All items represented are in good condition for their age, and from a non-smoking environment. This item has been cared for like the fine piece of art it is, and kept in a gallery like setting.
Please contact us within two days of auction end. All of my auction items are shipped on Mondays and Thursdays only. Payment must be received within ten days of the auctions end. Shipping will be via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation when possible and based upon size of the piece. Handling and insurance is included. International Shippers to pay actual cost of shipping and handling. As an added note, I like to ship these in the shrink wrap due to age, and supported by cardboard for shipping and handling.
