BUY WAR BONDS
This red, white and blue poster depicts an image of a soldier inviting Americans to buy war bonds, rifle with boyonet in hand, ready to fight. This piece was signed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives Sam Rayburn of Texas, and H. A. Wallace, who was the VP of the US from 01/30/1941, and other signatures I have difficulty deciphering. Posters of this circa were typically folded, thus it has the usual fold lines. Otherwise it has been stored and appears untouched for 64 years. The colors are absolutely astounding for a poster of this age. This poster measures approximately 22 inches x 28 inches. The secondary market on this piece is approximately $595.00.
This item represented is in excellent condition, and is from a non-smoking environment. The color is vibrant and the poster is in terrific condition. This is a HTF piece.
